Please join us for an eventing of music, food, laughter and the opportunity to make a difference in the file of disadvantaged suffering individuals in need of financial support to recover from addiction. TLC is a non for profit 501 (c) 3 dedicated to helping families put their lives back together after suffering from the disease of addiction.

Unfortunately not everyone has the financial wherewithal to do so, and may individual and their families continue to suffer without hope. You can make a difference.

So please come and enjoy performances by Layla Foruohar, and Farshid Amin, as well as the musings of Maz Jobrani, Tehran, and other surprise guests, who have all volunteered their time, effort and energy, to make this an unforgettable evening and bringing change to the lives of the hopeless families suffering from addiction.

All proceeds from this event will go to TLC’s scholarship program.

Join Us For Weekly Group Meetings


Alumni, friends and family members can attend one or both of our weekly group support meetings every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm and 8:30pm-10:30pm.

A wide range of topics are covered including the cause of addiction, how families can help, how to stay healthy through recovery, effects of addiction on the addict and families as well as what makes recovery last.

Family members get a chance to bring up their unique situations and explore strategies to address them.

Topics in the education series are:

  • Disease of Chemical Dependency
  • How the Family is Affected
  • Personality Development
  • Children of Chemical Dependency
  • The Process of Family Recovery

This is a confidential program. Who you see here and what is said in groups and lectures is information that is not to be revealed to anyone. An atmosphere of trust is crucial to allow patients and family members to begin to open up and gain the emotional support of their peers. If you learn something in group or lecture that is going to enhance your living, we encourage you to share this information with others. Please do not tell family members and friends that your loved one is here without his or her permission. We ask that you refrain from entering patient rooms when they are not present.
